Join the Center for Excellence in Writing in a discussion on diversity statements. Learn to write diversity statements and how to navigate the changing landscape of them. In this workshop: you will be introduced to what diversity statements are; reflect on how you understand diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging; have an open discussion about the changing perspectives on diversity statements; start drafting your statement; and share and obtain feedback on components of your diversity statements.
