Institute of Industrial and System Engineers

UB IISE exists as a student chapter of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, an organization recognized as the only international association that supports the profession of industrial engineering and promotes an increased awareness of the value of industrial engineers. Their missions is to provide knowledge, training, networking opportunities and recognition to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the industrial and systems engineering profession and those individuals involved with improving quality and productivity.

Here at the University at Buffalo, our goals are the same. Our members are provided with certification opportunities, networking events with fellow industrial engineering students and established industry professionals, and hands-on projects to build skills and competitive résumés. We are passionate about putting classwork into action and collecting useful engineering experiences over the course of an undergraduate education in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
