Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders.
We are the oldest and the largest Professional Co-Educational Business Fraternity. It began when four prestigious students from New York University, dubbed the “Brooklyn Four,” founded Alpha Kappa Psi on October 5th, 1904.
The close-knit friends, with a passion for studying the fields of commerce, accounts, and finance, traveled to and from school daily over the Brooklyn Bridge. Their deeply enriched minds decided to begin the world's first Professional Business Fraternity to further develop their skills. Little did they know, they started a prestigious legacy that has grown to today's largest Professional Business Fraternity.
Today, Alpha Kappa Psi has over 260,000 proud members domestically and internationally. Additionally, Alpha Kappa Psi has over 260 college chapters and over 80 alumni chapters and continues to grow over the years.
