ASL Honor Society - frozen

About

Inaugurated in 2006, the ASL Honor Society is an official program sponsored by the national ASL Teacher’s Association to encourage and recognize high academic achievement in ASL studies.

ASL students in, or entering, their second year of study, who have earned a general GPA of at least 3.2 and an ASL GPA of at least 3.5 are invited to apply for membership in the national organization, The American Sign Language Honor Society (http://www.aslhonorsociety.org/).

Benefits include: Distinguished status on college applications, leadership experience through positions with the organization, public celebration for your high academic achievement & provides you the opportunity to be involved with your local Deaf community & university ASL program.

How do I join?

  • Complete form, submit fee
  • Adhere to the ASLHS coursework requirements, community service & GPA requirement for the Alice Cogswell Medal
