Dancer's Workshop

Dancer’s Workshop is an entirely student-run dance concert that has been produced annually every Spring semester for the last 39 years. Founded by current UB Dance professors Joyce Miller-Lichtenberger and Shelley Hain, DW provides an opportunity for UB students to learn a wide variety of dances, choreograph or design lighting for a piece. Previous experience in these fields is recommended. We are not a production of the Department of Theatre and Dance, but they do support our cause. This show has helped to create a strong community amongst students. We hold several meetings, auditions and a casting session in the Fall semester and in the Spring we hold more meetings, Fundraisers, T-Shirt and Poster sales, Rehearsals, Technical and Dress Rehearsals and the Performances!
