The Inter-Greek Council (IGC) will plan, coordinate, and oversee the activities of all social fraternal organization systemwide service, philanthropic and social events (i.e. Greek Week). Each organization has one representative in addition to the elected officers.

The purpose of the Council of Presidents is to maintain a high plane of fraternal life and interfraternal relations, celebrate intellectual and social accomplishments and to collaborate with the administration in the maintenance of high social standards. Members strive to increase cooperation and communication between the members of UB's Greek community and the rest of the University at Buffalo community.
