About
The goals and objectives of LELS include, but are not limited to:
I. To increase knowledge and awareness of labor and employment law, both in its general
description and subject area, as well as the relevant subfields that come in contact with
labor and employment matters.
II. To expose students to both faculty knowledgeable in labor and employment matters, as
well as practicing attorneys in the labor and employment field.
III. To aid students in the cultivation of knowledge and skills to help them succeed in the
labor and employment field and relevant subfields.
IV. To increase exposure of students interested in the labor and employment field to
prospective employers through events, fundraisers, and other activities.
V. To serve as a resource to the student body regarding information relating to the labor and
employment law field.
VI. To promote connections between students interested in labor and employment law.
VII. To provide advice, both academically and experientially, to students interested in labor
and employment law.
