School of Dental Medicine Art Club
About
The purpose of The School of Dental Medicine Art Club shall be to help dental students with their mental health and to also provide art therapy to those in the community, such as those in nursing homes and hospitals. Our outreach coordinator will plan these volunteer opportunities throughout the year. The club will also intend to sell artwork made during the year in order to raise money for more supplies. The club will hold events for students to learn methods of creating artwork from each other based on each club member’s specialty. There will also be opportunities for members to visit art museums and festivals. Local photography hikes will also be a part of club outings. Our mission is to allow artwork and nature to help both students and community members in their health and well-being by helping to keep all mentioned peoples well rounded in their busy lives.
