UB Interdisciplinary
About
UB Interdisciplinary aims to attract students from a wide range of majors, backgrounds,
perspectives, and personalities. We intend to foster an environment where students are provided
the opportunity to head and contribute to ambitious projects at a low barrier of entry. For the 2018-19 school year, these projects will involve the implemented use of a drone quad-copter. In the coming years, new project themes will be introduced. Against an academically diverse background, our objective is to inspire creativeness in the most technical of projects and encourage technical additions to creative endeavors. Students will find themselves challenged by addressing personal weaknesses that may not need attention for proficiency in their own field of study, but are imperative in others. Along the way, students will discover that for certain judgement calls, one area of study may have a better answer to the same question.
