About
As students, we are in a unique position to lead our generation, and influence others, on sustainability. The first step is action, but it can be difficult when deciding where to begin. Our group, as well as our national organization, notes that the environment is the connective force between all of us. With that, we strive to cultivate creative and dynamic solutions to the ever changing needs surrounding us .
Our primary goal at the student level is to help get the word out in a more approachable fashion, like designing engaging instillations and community involvement. USGBC is open to all majors and is truly strengthened by its diverse composition. There are multiple networking opportunities available to our members that may start by obtaining LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, or reaching out and connecting with other members when searching for professional opportunities. Wherever our members go, we hope to act as a platform to cultivate and disperse our common interest in sustainability
